Tsavo East National Park is one of the oldest and largest parks in Kenya. Situated in a semi-arid area previously known as the Taru Desert it opened in April 1948, and is located near the town of Voi in the Taita-Taveta County of the former Coast Province. Named for the Tsavo River, which flows west to east through the national park, it borders the Chyulu Hills National Park, and the Mkomazi Game Reserve in Tanzania.
I have always felt the need to be creative. As a child I loved to sketch, draw, and paint. When I found the medium of photography a life long passion was born. I have spent nearly half a century trying to capture unique images of the world around us. Today I find myself fascinated with the beauty of nature and wildlife. I live in Tampa and being near the gulf coast has presented the opportunity to capture seascapes and flora and fauna near it's shores. I still manage to travel and I always take my camera wherever I go. I have captured many beautiful photographs over the years and I hope that you will spend some time browsing through my galleries and if you see something you like I hope you'll want to make your own.
